$294 for 20" 60v Dewalt chainsaw kit including case, charger, and 4 ah 60v battery (12 ah when used in 20v tools) - after hack.

Returning my 18" 3 ah kit because for $50 more u get bigger saw, bigger battery, and 'free' case.

I had to do two different locations because stock was limited, just a note

this deal has been around all month. the 12ah and 15ah versions of this kit were both available with the same deal

i got 2 of these tools but with the 15ah battery for $355 each 2 weeks ago. sold the chain saws and chargers, ended up only paying around $300+tax for two 15ah batteries

EDIT: here is the link to the 15ah battery bundle for $355 (after "hack") https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../318965414

Right. It's been around for about 2 weeks. And I didn't see it posted for the 20". Hence the post when it was back in stock for me .

This is the better deal, and the one I pounced on.

~70 bucks more for 1x 15ah… wasn't enough for me, 12ah will be enough for the saw for my use… but if I needed a table saw battery and I ran that a lot, I'd prob get the 15ah if there wasn't a better deal around

Are there really that many people on SD cutting whole adult trees down themselves? I have land and rentals and I find for general limbing and trimming my 12" top handle is best. Even my older 14/16" rear handle feels too big. And if I have to climb I want an 8" bar in the 12" top handle. Many professionals roll with this setup (Makita) for climbing. I mention it because I want the 20" because I don't have one. But when am I actually going to be cutting down an entire tree to justify a 20"? I guess if I owned a farm or ranch? Anyone here got a slick deal for a farm to go with my 20" saw???

I cut down a 35 yr old sycamore recently. Used a 14" makita … going to use this 20" to finish up the logs … ya I definitely wouldn't want to climb with this

My depot did this mistake a few times and this is why I have a few 12ah Milwaukee batteries in the stable… they cleaned up their procedures and don't make this mistake anymore, but ya, happens more than u would think!

Why didn't you go back to the store to give them back the battery. You have basically stolen it from them since you didn't pay for it.

So one time they gave me the extra battery, after I cancelled it… I get home, unload the truck bed and the little extra battery is attached in a separate bag to the string trimmer… I'm like, ok I don't even need this 2ah battery and don't wanna hassle selling it … so I go back to the store a few days later on my next trip for something else , bring the battery in because I know everyone at the store basically and assume it will keep goodwill and maybe they hook me up with future clearance heads up or something … yet they can't figure out how to process it and don't understand that I cancelled something yet they still gave it to me… clerk was clueless, I waited about 5 mins while her coworker tried to help, tried to explain ya I wasn't supposed to get this add on, do u want it, and because they couldn't attach it to an order , they didn't know what to do, said just keep it or come back when manager is available since they called and nobody answered 🤷 ♂️

Ya so if that ever happens again, I'll mention it to the people I know but it's truly not my problem and I'll use what they give me and can't figure out how to deal with
