Yes, 1 year required on boost.
I dont know if any ebay unlockers have codes for the boost moto edge 2023...
If anyone has had success with ebay unlocker (or others) for boost edge+ 2023 , let us know.

ebay purged a lot of those sellers. You might need to look for their own websites as there are some that still exists.

If this can be unlocked easily like the 2022 model, this is a great deal. Otherwise, 12 month unlock criteria is cancerous nowadays.

I think you must have missed where they said "unlocked". If you're fine paying Boost $40/month - which is outrageous for an MVNO - then I guess "steal" at $680 (plus taxes and fees) for 12 months of service and the phone is very subjective.

The majority of people looking at this deal are going to want to take the phone somewhere else after the first month, and aren't sure if it will work with other carriers. Personally, I'm too nervous about getting stuck with Boost at that price for what is deprioritized service and a mid-tier phone (especially since the camera is "meh" and I care far more about a good camera than I do gaming on a phone).
I bought the same phone from Project Genesis for $400 last year and unlocked it in the first month with a $6 unlock code.

Your last paragraph explained everything. Since my camera is everything in my current daily, S23FE Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with intercooler.

For anyone that is going to purchase one, remember that Boost doesn't allow you to remove autopay easily. You can't do it from your account.

If you pay through PayPal, you can login and deactivate it from subscriptions.
If you pay through CC, you need to use a burner card since they won't let you remove your default card or contact CS and ask them to disable autopay.

I don't know if you can still ask CS to disable it. Things might have changed.
You can disable the autopay either via their App or on their website now.

I believe you, but unless you want to share who you used (don't need a link, you can just tell us the seller or site), you're just some rando saying "trust me, bro, it works". My understanding is that a lot of these eBay sellers were removed from the platform and while there are other places to get these unlock codes, I'm not aware of any with glowing reviews (and they're more expensive, like $15-20).

Boost is no worse than any other MVNO, in my opinion (and experience, though I'm not currently using them), but I'm not sure this "deal" is worth the risk for someone who absolutely does not want to commit to a year at $40/mo with Boost.

So to get the phone unlocked - if you can't buy the code, which I feel like we're all still pretty unsure about - that's $420 (plus taxes and fees) for the phone and a year of Boost...as long as you can get by with 2GB. I'm not an especially heavy user, but I always go over 2GB in a month, though always stay under 5GB.

So what if you want or need more than 2GB? There are cheaper options than Boost, especially if you don't mind paying 3-6-12 months in advance. I'm currently wrapping up 12 months of Mint unlimited that was $180 ($15/month). Yes, I had to buy 12 months at once (6mo + 6mo "free"), but I had experience with Mint and was happy enough. This was in addition to a $200 Pixel 7 Pro, which Mint unlocked for me without question when I said I needed to use the eSIM.

I know it's not simple. People have different cell service use-cases. Some can get by with less than 1GB, some effectively want/need "unlimited". A person's use-case will determine what combination of phone promo + service cost is the best value for them and should choose accordingly. I just don't see this being a "deal" for someone who is fine with an MVNO but wants more than 2GB of data allotment since they likely can't take the phone to another carrier unless they stay a full year with Boost.

I bought 2 motorolara cause the first one everyone here said they were great. An the second the seller said it was good. I've owned mostly Samsung so maybe I'm biased an everyone is used to junk. But these phones are worse than $60 no name disposable phones. An by far worse than no name Brands like tcl. It's almost like sd is getting paid for posts since the corporate switch over 4 years ago

12 month unlimited boost sim was $150 in Feb/March also will work in any locked boost phone.

I have owned this phone for months and like it much better than the Pixel 7 Pro and OnePlus 11 that I have also owned. The cell reception is top-notch (especially compared to Pixel) and it's super fast with the 165hz screen. It charges fast too with the included 68w charger. The camera may not be the best but it's much better than the previous generations and I personally have no issues with it.

Motorola is the brand. They have many different models at various price points. A Moto E will not perform as well as a Galaxy S23.

I got that year of Boost service and currently using it. So you're saying I can buy this phone, swap the Sim, then after a year this phone will unlock? Seems shady as I'll need to buy the phone using a different account than the one with my year of service.

Ok thanks. I doubt it unlocks but $150/year for unlimited service is hard to beat so it may be fine just using boost for the life of it.

I spoke to an ex ebay moto unlock code seller through whatsapp and he said he recommends buying edge plus 2023 unlocked as motorolla database doesnt have edge plus 2023 yet, whatever that means. I got a unlock code for edge plus 2022 from him last year through ebay.
