I got a 55 inch display unit with 8000 hours for $300, but it seems to have the target logo burnt in. Can't return it, but is there anything I can do to try and get rid of it? Pixel cleaner does nothing, I only see the logo on the burn in test YouTube videos so it could be worse, but not sure if there any fixes. Is this still a good deal? This is my first OLED and it is amazing aside from that.
A bit of a late reply, but if you still have the TV, you could come out with a great deal.

Burn in should be covered within the 1 year warranty you get from LG, and you should still get 1 year warranty on this tv from when you bought. Even if open box (from what I have read and been told)

If you are able to find one, these are still at 50% off clearance, it should be sometime this week that the go down to 70% off clearance.

Imo a 70% off clearance + 10 - 20% because it's a display model would be a great buy.

If it has 5000+ hours on it, you can always just do an LG panel manufacturer warranty swap.
Just bought a display for $237 out the door.

What was the price that it rung up at? 50% clearance or 70% clearance?

I believe it was 70% and then an extra 30% for being a display. I also used a red card and had an extra 10% off.

My target had 1 floor model left but wouldn't sell it to me. Didn't give a reason, one of the lower managers asked him on the walkie talkie if they could sell it so I didn't get to ask why they said no. Any thoughts as to why?

I was thinking of calling tomorrow and seeing if I can get a different manager to sell it or at least explain why.

Anyone have any thoughts why they wouldn't? (other than they might want it themselves? lol)

Looks like they removed it from their systems. I was checking for any price drops, but now it says discontinued and no price available. They might not have a way of selling it now unfortunately.
