Be careful with BuyDig.com factory refurbished. It's more like heavily used with worn buttons and dried milk still on the unit.

See this deal from last week, I received mine yesterday and it was very very used : https://slickdeals.net/f/17419332-factory-refurb-cafe-bellissimo-semi-automatic-espresso-machine-149-free-s-h?p=170381241&comment=success#post170381241

The slickdeals staff may want to rethink posting buydig's factory refurbished products.
I've usually had great experiences with other refurbished products elsewhere.

This was my experience with past buydig items I don't know why but their standards seem very different

Is this easy to use? How often does it need to be cleaned?

It's just not a great machine imo. At the entry level, I've pulled better shots on a DeLonghi Stilosa which is $99 and sometimes cheaper with some basic mods like a bottomless portafilter.

I had the same experience with that one. They offered me $40 to keep it and mentioned the warranty, but I don't think it's worth it for a heavily used item.

BuyDig isn't great. I just got a refurbished Cafe Bellissimo from them, and the text on the buttons was all worn off and there were coffee grinds all over it. It works though, so that's a plus

Highly agree. I bought a monitor from them that they claimed was "new" but was clearly refurbished.

Do not buy

Even though I used to work in a coffee shop, I prefer the pressurized portafilter baskets. Just so fast and easy with three kids and three jobs. I wonder which this comes with...

I already have one (it's amazing, 90% quality of a fancy machine, very reliable and easy) but inlaws were interested.

There are some hacks you can make to this thing if you Google that will take it up a notch too, very high quality and ultimate value.
