You are always so fast to post these, I assume you have a script or you check every morning (like me 😁). For what it's worth, the listings for IPhone 12 Pro & Max are also $2.75 and Mini for $1.37, but both are out of stock online. I assume since the price dropped though that means there may be stock in some stores if people are lucky enough.

No, I just have a list of saved items in the Walmart app that I refresh each morning. The 11 dropped to $100 on a Tuesday in April last year so I was expecting this to happen around now.

is there any way to find the phone number for the new Verizon account if you didn't screenshot it during the purchase? I didn't screenshot the phone number because I thought I would see it again later but now I need that number to cancel my Verizon service.
Have you received the device yet? Try to see if there is any phone number printed on the shipping label on the package they sent you...

Lucky you. I went to a corporate store today and was rudely told by several sales floor people that I couldn't do it and would have to wait 30 days. They didn't even bother to look up my account on their computer system. I then went to an authorized Verizon dealer in the next town on my way homeand they were way nicer, but when they looked up my account to do the cash payment to remove my payment agreement, they were unable to do so since it said I had to wait until May 2nd. At that point it wasn't worth my time and I went home.
I did the same as wiredsix. Initially I went to authorized dealer they were not able to do it. But corporate store people were able to do it in less than 5 minutes.

Why can't I just cancel it first and pay off the phone after I cancel it?

Went back to the same Verizon corporate store today and the girl there had no issue letting me pay with cash, the man I spoke to yesterday either didn't know what he was talking about or straight up lying. Now I'm on the phone with customer service getting the line cancelled.

Congrats! So you were able to pay off the device even before (1) receiving the phone (2) setting up an online Verizon account (3) activating the service. Did I understand that correctly?

I was able to pay off the device in store with cash without receiving the phone, I was not able to create an online Verizon account because I don't have the phone with me and they need to send an SMS to do that. I believe the service gets activated automatically when Walmart ships the phone.

When you went to the corporate store, did you already have the device in hand and activated the service (when and how)? Also, did you already sign up for an online Verizon account (and did the account showed that the device cannot be paid off until a certain date 5/xx/2024 like in some previous posts)?
Yes I did, the device was delivered the day after I bought it. I waited another day to go to the store..so the 3rd day. I did have to have the device because they had to txt a login approval I had to click through. And yes, online the payment date was ~14 days out.

For me:
Until 05/02/2024 , this device payment is available through cash payment at a Verizon store. After that date you will be able to pay off your device online.
Same date for me.

What info did they need for you to pay off in the store? I just called Verizon online and they said that my account is not activated yet, and that I will need to receive the phone first before I can activate the service and set up my online account. I ordered 4/17, and Walmart shows delivery expected 4/22 (that's at least 5 days apart). Would it be ok if I wait until I get the device or should I try to go to the store before receiving the device?

All they need is the new Verizon cell phone number and your ID to take payment at the store. If you wait past 3 days since activation you will be stuck with the $35 activation fee.

Thanks. Before you went to the store to pay off, did you already turn the phone on at home (with the verizon sim that they sent you in it)?

Oh I see, so did they waive $35 in the store for you? Or did you have to get the $35 waived afterwards by calling verizon online (and canceling the service at the same time)?
