Walmart just reduced Verizon Moto Edge 2021 256GB to $1 per month for 36 months.

Verizon - https://www.walmart.com/ip/seot/2...tryType=WL

Its not monthly credits so please donot ask this question in comments.

You will be billed $1 per month for 36 months so you can pay $36 after 14 days and get your line free again.

New and existing customer will be charged $35 activation fees.

Existing customer total - $36+ TAx + $35 upgrade feee

New customer can try paying off the phone at corporate store with in 14 days or via customer service and can cancel the line with in 3 days to avoid activation fees. huge YMMV thought.

So worst case scenario for new line - $36 + $35 activation + 14 days bill (as you can cancel as soon as you pay it off after 14 days and cancel the line )

Any reason why anyone can't activate as soon as you receive the phone, pay it off, and then cancel the next day? Most likely have to pay no activation and a couple pro rated days of the monthly contract. I am an existing customer and planning on doing this. Reason why this will/will not work.

I did exactly same thing. Now service is canceled. Just waiting now for unlock status.
