I had difficulty with GV for my #, they consider it a land line. My orders online kept failing, then I got a few missed calls from Metro support 2 weeks later...

Oh dang, it was $65 plan a week or so ago when I did it... Except my google voice number is still working but my Metro line with the same number is also working, but only for data lolol

It's always been $40 only certain phones are $60 like the iPhone

It was $65 when I did it... Phone went to full price in the cart after selecting the $40 plan.

As someone mentioned in the Metro thread, they bought a Moto G Stylus 2023 for $40 (a free phone) and added two lines (the Razr 2023) to their existing account. So three lines under one account: Moto G, Razr 2023, and Razr 2023 (all three cost $40 each per month).

So you get three phones for [phone cost]. $99 + $99 + $0 and service cost $40 + $40 + $40 = $340 (including tax)

so IIUC,

there was at a time when u could get the 40 plan with a new number.
things changed recently

now, w a new number (new customer) any phone must add the 65 plan.
unless u port in, in which the 40 plan is available

No that's definitely how I did it even if you go onto there website rn it's 99 plus port in which is$40 I had just checked it
