Nothing about cotton is "cool and dry". At least compared to polyester. The relative cool and dry comes from the 40% polyester. For light duty activity and general use there is a big comfort factor with a cotton blend. For stuff you want to dry quick or really wick and stay light and not deform when wet, stick to 100% polyester or > 90 and some stretch enhancers. In my opinion there is little comfort in a cotton blend that actually gets wet. Great price either way.

In for 4. It's so hard to find a good long sleeve shirt for under $15 these days, these definitely hit every checkbox including UPF rating.
