It'd be nice to know in advance. I'd hate to have to actually go in and explain this promo to one of the employees at my local Chipotle. Most of them are wearing AirPods and seem irritated if they have to talk to anyone beyond the bare minimum order-taking stuff.

Chipotle always requires so much effort to get a coveted discount.
Dress up, text at exactly the right time, etc.
I still go there when I have a craving but just accept that I'm going to pay full price.

The last time I got a great offer there was Halloween when their system crashed and you could get the discount by just telling an employee.

Last time, my local restaurant refused to give me the promo because my cotton name and number shirt wasn't "jersey material." I'm sure they had to waste the food because I walked out. I haven't gone back since.

Haha - this sums up every visit to Chipotle, discount inquiry or not. My favorite is when the cashier reacts to asking to buy a bag of chips like they just got into a fender bender.
