I swear all these running shoes companies purposely do white soles knowing that they'll get dirty and look aged super quick so you'll buy a new pair.

What do they have against black or brown soles?

I actually think this colorway is pretty great.

Reminds me of the Ekiden 36s.

I would say so, but what you are using as a reference would help.

I wear 10.5 in these, Saucony, and Adidas. Had to size differently with Edmond Allens.

I think its a little more padding on the tongue and a few extra swooshes. Nothing says "Happy Mother's Day" like only offering sales on men's shoes.

Picked these up a few weeks ago, i prefer my Peg 38's over these, my feet are hurting from impact after only 3 miles. Hoping a break in period will improve but I have my doubts.

These are good. Not as good as some of the previous versions, but a solid shoe with good support. Pegs aren't an exciting shoe and lack the snappy energy return/propulsion some of the better models have, but if you are looking as a casual runner, something for easy days and a shoe that looks good for running and casual use, the Peg 40s are a good choice and it's a good price.

Best shoes I've ever worn. Not a fan of the back. I always clip them walking down the stairs. Other than that great in my lower back.

Are there any other colorways that they stock for the extra wide version?

The extra wide variants have been much cheaper in the past (~$64 w/ coupons).

The foam is too hard for some reason, peg 39s are better.

Not sure why heel slippage is such an issue for me with the newer pegasus. I think I've had the issue since the 35s changed the heel.
