Received mine in Epson certified refurbished box so it's good to know it's manufacturer refurbished and not by 3rd party. Projector unit looks good don't see any scratches. Turned it on and projected to the ceiling and it was bright and super sharp. Deal of a century I guess. Super happy.
Same. And as far as I remember, epson recert has same warranty as new. Not sure if it applies to third-party sales

Got mine today too. I like Android TV so setup was super simple. Sign in, complete the 800mb update, and go. Had it running in under 10 mins.

Mine too was in perfect condition and was in an Epson refurbished box.

UI is snappy, sound is really nice, and I watched some quick YouTube for a test and this will work just fine for $250

I probably should have grabbed a second one!

Anyone find where the hour counter is?

Mine came today too. Nice surprise all the settings such as focus seem mostly automatic. Guess that makes it portable. Happy with it so far

Go to , 2nd option in setting , lamp source info , lamp hours . Mine shows 0 , not sure if it was reset during refurbishment or it was practically new , looks like a nee unit.

Someone complained about the boxy shape compared to the EF11, and that the ports are on the sides not the back. But this arrangement is perfect for projecting onto the ceiling. I've been wondering what it would be like watching TV in the ceiling while laying in bed and this projector makes that dream come true and simple and practical. Everything focus and keystone is automatic and the built-in Android TV means no fumbling with dongles and inputs and different remotes. The built-in speakers/sound is surprisingly rich and full with a good amount of bass. I would not trade this EF12 for the EF11 even if double the price, so much improvements and more convenient, smart and clean like a sound bar versus a traditional wired multi-speaker system.

I received mine and like others have said, it came in EPSON refurbished box with a certified EPSON refurbished sticker on it. Wish I had picked up another one also. It's like half the size of my XGIMI Ultra. Now I know which one will be going on work trips with me.

Got mine yesterday. Tested out with a tv stick, didn't bother to use any google tv signin. Worked out great. The video quality is vey good to my eyes. And the fan noise is very minimal. Will keep it for sure!

All of the above is true for me as well but when I look at 4k content with built in android TV YouTube it looks a little grainy to my eyes. It's projected on a screen and not wall directly. I am coming from 5050ub so may be I am expecting too much or may be it's just my unit.

Where you able to make it boot from the stick? Or you have to choose the input source every time?

Registered my EF-11 today. It expires in December. Literally 8 months from the date I purchased it from Walmart.

I'm guessing these things are somehow tied to the original purchase date? Mine is probably older then?

Definitely think these are true refurbs and not old stock that was shuffled around to clear inventory.

thanks for the link. ordered. i thought something like this would come with projector.
This projector is meant for a table or similar surface. In my case I have a dedicated theatre room with a ceiling mount, so the adapter was needed in my specific case. I would not say that this is the common use for this projector.

Any recommendation for max screen size for occasional outdoor kids movies? Was leaning for a 100" Elite Screen
Fixed focus lens, so the factor is where you can place the projector in relation to the screen. For reference I have mine mounted about 10.5' from my 120" screen and I need to move it forward 14-18 "

Brightness/picture quality is still OK at 120"? I'll just be using mine outside for movie nights so I can space it however I want. My question was moreso how does the EF12 look on greater than 100" screens
