I now have a lot of trust issues.
i felt i need to mention that zwilling sorrento, even though it looks like it has a vacuum seal, it doesn't. moister can still get in (slowly). this is especially an issue in the dishwasher when there is a pod of water sitting on the seal and the glass starts to cool. one of my sorrento glass had moister between layers, and i though about put in the microwave oven to head up the moister and restore the looks. i think i put in for a good 8 minutes and most of the moisture were gone, i put in for a few more minutes and then it exploded.

It's a shame if these aren't microwave safe. I reheat my coffee a lot.
Are these double wall glass construction cups always unsafe for microwave, or is it just this brand cheaping out?
Never had a problem reheating coffee in these. You do need to be careful with a metal spoon, use a chopstick or plastic spoon to stir.

I can second from personal experience ,both of those thoughts.

Like I said towards end, it's an okay deal since it's $6 less than usual reported price. Just meant to be more of a fyi for people that may pull trigger more so because it seems more than 70% off right now
