I have the 16GB/1TB version of this same laptop. Turn the ASUS fan setting down to whisper mode and its a great laptop for office work/streaming. Well made, good battery life, great screen. No complaints.
Comes with a 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD. Anyone know if it actually has a 4.0 slot? An ASUS Creator I bought a couple months ago shipped with 3.0 SSD but actually works and performs with a 4.0 SSD installed.
Seems like this laptop was purposely crippled. With 16GB RAM (even if it was an empty slot) it would be a "buy now, think later" situation. With 8GB, it's a glorified media viewing device.

Agreed. Was in buy mode to replace my ryzen 5 2500u until I saw that
AllState warranty. Anyone have good or bad experiences with them?
Not for Laptop/PC but I used them once for an XBox Controller; it was literally hassle free. I called an explained the controller drift and several weeks later they sent a check. I still have the controller.

Prycedin Are the worst as refurbishing. They just lightly clean whatever it is. Bought this last week and the usage time on th laptop was over 3,000 hrs. Which means the OLED is basically at its EOL.

Good experience here. Bought Sony high-end earbuds with 3-year warranty, on Y2 got battery issues. Sent for repair, came back repaired. After 2 months issues again, they cut a check for refund. Customer svc was pretty good.

That said this thing has great specs for the price and I've personally had good luck with Ebay Refurbished items.
