This reboot was really disappointing, not even worth $5, don't waste your time.

Grab the older games if you get a chance Saints Row 3 is excellent and holds up pretty well imo.

Does anyone remember the first game. The online Protect the Pimp was my jam back then. I was just 2 when I played in in 2006

The game is not so bad, as long as you skip almost all the cutscenes

Agreed, it was a very competent game just uninspired. If it wasn't being measured against Saints Row 3 in every single rant then perhaps could be fairly judged by its own merits. Pretty much every recent reboot (games, movies, TV) get this same reddit review bombing treatment. I guess the 'Memberberries are too strong in some folks...

I remember playing the first one for hours , I enjoyed more then GTA at the time until GTA 4 came out. The first 3 saints row were awesome but after that it started to go down. they should had rebooted the series back to gang style open world. they did a game no one asked for and got destroyed, only buying cause I always loved the series but will neve play this game
