Someone said it's 13 hours. Also MacBook doesn't have touch screen. Nor this much storage or ram. To find a MacBook Pro with similar specs and 14" would easily be close to double the price

I am still baffled that we haven't seen a single 64Gb laptop deal yet for a while now, pretty much everything on sale is 16 or in some case 32gb

I ended up custom ordering w/ the Amex offer and upgraded to 32GB, 1TB. I have a 2017 Spectre which has not had any problems, but mostly always used in laptop mode. Afterwards, been seeing some negative reviews of problems and especially about the quality of HP products in general. I didn't buy warranty, but can always add anytime within 12 months. I hope I don't get a dud. Now debating whether I should cancel it since it won't ship until early May… 😐
It may end up shipping a decent amount earlier.
I ordered mine on 2/21/24 with an estimated ship date of 3/20 but it actually shipped on 2/28. It arrived on 3/7 with the standard shipping option.

Oh yikes..then might have less time to decide than I thought lol.

Did you get the spectre oled model? So far so good?

My Amex charge showed as pending for a good 48 hours (2 days) and then changed to posted with the same initial date. The $150 credit showed up within another 2 days and I never got an email either, so you should be fine if the pending charge was dated the 22nd! :-)

The 15% restocking says "may apply." I called HP and while I couldn't cancel since my order was already "processing," I was advised they could "attempt to cancel," but that if it ends up shipping, I could still return within 30 days without the restocking fee.

Still unsure of what I want to do now though…so haven't requested the cancel yet…
Good to know! I have similar concerns as you based on some user reports (I got the same config, also upgraded to 1TB), but I'm just going to let it ride. The reviews have been largely really positive so I'm hopeful, but I guess we'll see.
Trying to find a Windows laptop with a HiDPI screen, 32GB of RAM and decent battery life for under $1400 was a struggle and this was one of the few options I came across.

Yes, I got the same specs as the one listed for this deal. I've been happy with it so far.

FWIW, I've had an HP Spectre x360 from 2016 and it's worked fantastically. The battery is finally dying a bit but other than that it has been ROCK SOLID. This might be a tempting upgrade.

This thing is loaded, any cons?
I've had a slightly older version of this comp for several years and it has been a great device. It should be for the price

only in benchmarks not in actual game performance. intel drivers are ok for newer games but still much worse than AMD overall
That's not true. Intel's Arc iGPU still beats AMD in plenty of games, and with each driver update that list grows bigger and bigger. It's just not a clean sweep like you see in the synthetic benchmarks which show the full potential of the iGPU.

How does this compare to the ZBook firefly? That was just slightly cheaper with similar specs, 3 year warranty.
I bought one of these about 3 years ago bc Dell(All I had ever bought up until that point) didn't have a 15-in 2 in 1 yet. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as this eventually became my GOAT(fav) new tech purchase.

not what ive seen at all. MSI claw is using the new Core Ultra and gaming performance still lags far behind AMD handhelds even after updates

Apologies if this is a dumb question but I don't know much about computers. Just bought the Dell Inspiron SlickDeal a few days ago. Core i7, 16gb, 1tb hard drive, etc. Is this laptop better than the Dell if price was not a factor? (I'm not even close to rich or anything of the sort haha) Thank you!
