I got it at $6000 in 2020 too. It has been working well and we use it around 5-10 times per week. My only complaint is the end of life for its android app since day 1. The Apple app is still available but we only use the controls on the chair and the wired remote. This is a good price.
I have this exact model except in the white/beige color combo. I think I bought it 3 years ago.
It's a great chair overall. Only a few nuances that others have mentioned here including a relatively bad UI and the pressure can be pretty intense on some of the settings. We use it maybe a couple times a week and no issues with the actual massage functions so far. The only things that dont seem to work are the wireless charging pad and the heating function. One other nuance that I really do not like is that there are lights on each side of the chair that changes colors slowly. There is no option to turn it off. It can be annoying if youre using this at night and the lights bother others in the room. The control center on the arm rarely gets used since the attached remote can do everything the control center can do and more so i'm not sure why they even put that there.
The mount is useful for attaching the remote or you can attach your phone and watch videos hands free as you get a massage. It also has bluetooth capability. Overall I like this chair and would definitely recommend at this price point. This was considered a higher end premium model just a few years ago.
This is a great price for this model. I purchased this chair from Costco for $6000 in 2020. So far the main functions has been working fine. No maintenance was done since it was purchased. Heated seats seemed to have stopped working within the last few months. The chair is used on average around 5x a week for 30mins/session.
There are some nuances with the model. The software is horrible and I cannot get the leg rotator thing to function independently. It is also very heavy and hard to move around.
4D means the back rollers can push towards and roll up/down the body at different speeds. 3D would be a constant speed at all times.
This model is very aggressive compared to other models and maybe too intense for some users.
Are you sure this is the same model you got in 2020? This is the Akron Plus.

Seems like some good complaints for something very expensive
I have this model and these are features for me, not complaints. It saves me from regular sports massages. The massage rollers don't go as far down as I would like to the back of my legs, but I'm going to find out if that is a limitation for my size or if it was a defect of the one I purchased.
