This is a great deal, assuming it's refurbished by Rockford and has a warranty. Had a Rockford fail on one channel after running it for 3 years. Of course, this was 22 years ago. I don't think many people do car audio anymore, like the old days during the prime of cassette and cd players.

What'd you say?? Can you speak up?!??
(I lost lots of my hearing using Fosgate and Orion amps in the 90's..)

It is crazy how expensive car audio equipment was 25 years ago compared to how cheap it is now. I rocked an Orion HCCA 425 amp with a pair of Precision Power (PPI) 12"s and it was glorious. It would rattle gas station canopies. I used a PPI 450 to power the full range speakers. Good old days.

Rockfiord Fosgate! Havent heard that name in 10 years. What happened to the aftermarket car audio industry? Stock became good enough?

Same lol... People are too lazy to integrate now... OEMs have removed the fun out of car audio now. Plus they all sound decent out there now. My ML for (newer) Lexus vehicle suffices enough, has enough balance, that I don't think I need subs.

Radios are built into cars, and the more complicated ones are tied into your ECU, climate control, etc...

To really get them dialed in, you have to buy signal processors to get clean signals out... While it's cheap stuff, the supporting mods can get pricey.

To be fair, folks still do car audio nowadays... just not as common to normal folks anymore (Check out Steve Meade Forums).

Rockford focuses more on marine/ATV/motorcycle products these days, but car audio is still very much a thing, it's shifted a bit since it's a lot more integration vs new head units, but overall it's still a popular industry
