The brand is back. The sauce is not. They screwed over the supplier of their main ingredient, so their new sauce has a different taste. If you want the old huy fong, their old supplier sells it - underwood ranch.
That's a shame. I've never actually had the underwood ranch sauce but I figured they'd get it right. The new huy fong certainly doesn't taste the same to me, but I guess that ship has sailed
I'd recommend just sticking with HF unless prices/supply are really constrained in your area. I've had a lot of bad experiences with the copycats. It's just not worth it to have some gross bottles of sriracha when HF is readily available now.
Agreed the Dynasty Sriracha Chili is now the best to me. Better than rooster Sriracha and somewhat similar to the old Rooster Sriracha.
The new Rooster Sriracha tastes to me like old or dated Tabasco sauce. mostly spicy hot and no taste.

But at the risk of getting my Asian card revoked and my parents disowning me, I kinda like Dynasty better. It is smoother and smokier than Huy Fong. I think I might have switched over!
