For those new to mountain biking, this is a bit longer suspension travel than a regular trail bike, and is focused more on going downhill than uphill, but not to the extent of a dedicated downhill bike. It's the in between of a trail bike and downhill bike. This would be good for more aggressive riding, rougher and bigger features and such.
The SX drivetrain isn't the best, but is usable. The fork and shock are pretty decent.
