I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

So I had success last year in Long Beach with Kia (it was a total lark, son had a baseball tournament down there). I was able to get 11K off an EV6 and 0.9% APR and nobody in the bay area would even come close to that. I have this theory that you want to negotiate with the bigger higher volume dealers near the end of the month rather than the smaller ones. Seems counter-intuitive, but I think what's happening is there's a lot of bonus money and allocations tied to hitting numbers so you can get lucky if you're patient/willing to travel and they've gotta move that last vehicle.

Took the advice of the guy that said to email a bunch of dealers and I drove a 2024 SEL RWD home today for $500 down and $450 a month for 24 months. First time ever leasing a car and the experience was a bit stressful but the sales associate really worked with me and at least for now I am very happy. Shout out to slickdeals forum for making dreams come true. 🥺😂👌

I'm noticing a trend of car ads coming on slick deals.
I see a staff member shared this "deal"
I believe dealerships are paying this website to post car ads.
I fell for it once, but once you're in the dealership, it's a different number.
NO MORE CAR ADS ON SLICKDEAL!

Schomp Hyundai. No handling fee but there was a $650 acquisition fee which I believe Hyundai corporate charges on all leases. You can see the breakdown of everything in the OP. The "official" deal is $225 down and $225 a month plus taxes and fees which comes out to around $10,500 all-in. I contacted several dealers and got them to go lower. I did all negotiating over text and email so once we agreed on a number I just went in and signed. I would never go in without a firm number agreed. It's much harder to negotiate when you are already there.

The advertised deal excludes taxes and fees but dealers will go lower if you negotiate. After negotiating, I got it down to $6k all-in.

This deal was shared by members g8trb8 and golemchamp before a Deal Editor formatted it for the front page. Unfortunately anything you have to find in person can be YMMV, this one got a lot of positive votes, but I'd agree that people should be able to filter out the types of deals they aren't interested in. Troll because I live in SoCal and don't get the Colorado credit? $500 includes first month payment so it's less than $11k all in, the same as the official deal, but I negotiated for a model with 2k+ more in options. It's not the 6k all in that one guy got, but go take your broke ass to the dealership and try to replicate that deal and then come back to me.

Did I hit a nerve? You overpaid a few thousand for a mid-trim RWD model. For your price, you should have gotten the Disney trim in AWD.

2k in options? Nitrogen-filled tires and paint protection packages don't count.

I'm sorry if you really paid that. Really thought you were trolling. This deal is for $5k - $7k one-pay so you're way off.

are you talking about 10500 for taxes/fees? My take rate is 5.13% so what was your final lease payment/month on 12k miles 24 months lease

The slickdeal is completely wrong

yes the deal is 225 a month 225 down , however there is taxes/fees
final payment is way above 300-400s depending on credit score

this should be removed off slick deals IMO
