The driving mechanics in this game are terrible. I played it with my son and we were laughing at the bad mechanics but also frustrated at it. There's no way I'd spend money on this. I strongly suggest you try it out on Game Pass first if that's an option. The building and other components of the game might make it worth it, but as a racer, it's not great.

one of the most disappointing games... maybe its my fault. But was really hoping this would be like lego city. Still don't understand why they don't make lego city 2. Best game for kids and I enjoyed playing with kids.

The driving is kind of trial and error. I think they were trying to push players to build a car, test it out, then take it back to the shop to tweak, repeat. But yes, it can be infuriating, especially on some of the gold medal times when precision is required to pass.

For a game using a license targeted at kids and families, I was surprised at the lack of hand holding when it came to doing most of anything. I get that it's open world, but a Lego title shouldn't be one of those "where the hell am I supposed to go" games.

The monetization is atrocious. How dare they, especially when charging for the game and meant for children. The greed shows all the way through. Not worth playing for free....

Agreed. Out of all the lego games, lego city is one of the best.
