Call the Canon Loyalty program number to get potentially 10% off your lens (refurbished included). I gave them the serial number for an older kit lens and it literally qualified me to get 10% off the RF 24-70 f/2.8.

I have a small collection of Canon cameras. Ping me if you need a serial number.

Please avoid doing this. Canon offers a discount (10 or 20% can be a sizable amount depending on the camera/lens you buy) and people generally provide their own older canon lens or camera serial number and regardless of if its working or not they give you the discount. The prices off the sale are decent enough.

If everyone starts abusing the system by acquiring serial numbers off the internet, may be they would stop doing this. What are you trying to accomplish by providing serial numbers randomly?

I might get thumbs down for this but its not ok what you are doing I think. A handful of people may benefit from you but this why we stop having good things...

I only got 3% amex offer. But should be decent because Canon.com should qualify for 3% cashback online retailer for blue cash credit card. Yes there are 10% elsewhere. Not the best price for the Canon R5 compared to BF/CM last year. But this is a decent deal! Maybe clearing out stock for Canon R5 Mark II?

I really wanted to like the R8 (as a B-cam to my R5) but it has a lot of overheating problems in video mode. Fantastic photo camera at the entry FF price point though, no question. Have to call in to Canon for returns on these refurb purchases but it was no fuss.

I'm looking at the R5, will it work on cameras too? Unfortunately, I'm coming from an old Nikon D7000, so maybe better than loyalty for Canon...

If I'm not mistaken, most of these prices match the BF prices of 2023. Will they be even lower during BF this year? Probably. But that's 7 months away.

Will the 10% coinbakk be available during BF?

The 10% off in the Canon loyalty program certainly will be.

I actually just used this to replace my old T3i. If you buy a new camera they will give you a 20% discount. If you buy refurbished they will give you 10%. Just an FYI.
