I'd pay the extra $70 for the Asus vivobook ($300) at microcenter if you have one near you

It has touch and probably 50% faster

Upgrading for another $100 for 20GB (4 soldered + 16gb module) RAM and 1TB SSD is very easy as well

Why is this of all things a deal breaker? I hate touch screens on laptops personally.

You can't event get a chrome book for that price. Good luck for getting a BLU phone from QVC for $49.99
