If the service goes down you'll probably lose all your movies. That's the risk of "buying" digital. I actually don't like digital purchases but at $4.25 it's the price of a rental so I'll bite this time. I'm not feeling good about it. The product is ephemeral, you don't actually own it. Feels almost like peeing money into the wind. This will probably be my last digital purchase. It feels better to own the actual product.

SHOUT! released it on 4K Blu-ray disc last December. Theirs was a brand-new transfer from a crisp 4k Scan. I've heard that some SHOUT! transfers are released in 4K digital but that's unconfirmed.

​VUDU has been around a long time (in digital streaming years) and appears to be quite stable. It was founded nearly 20 years ago and was acquired in 2020 by NBCUniversal subsidiary Fandango Media. I've purchased several hundred movies and have been happy with their service.

I would look then buy used or search harder . These providers have screwed people before and just like the xbox and ubisoft you dont actually own this content even thought you paid as much as a bargain DVD/blue ray price.
