I think when it comes to tailored clothing slim fit means the cut is tailored in such a way as to make larger men appear thinner. I'm over weight and was fitted for a wedding once and was biggest guy in the party and only one who they wrote slim fit on my fitting tag I assumed it was a mistake but when I called they explained it to me. Haha so that is how I know

That's a common feature, called a "ticket pocket," sort of old school. I always get offered the ticket pocket on customs. IMHO it only works well with a double-breasted suit.
