these are solar rechargable. you charge the battery during the day then use it at night. who said you would use it while solar charging during the day?

Well, he didn't say he would use the device during the day while charging it... nobody did... Your points have absolutely nothing to do with what he said. He was just saying that the product should not be taken too seriously just because it is solar rechargeable. Other than that, I guess your assessment is mostly accurate, even if not asked for or warranted on any level

his point is the product shouldnt be "invented" or useful in any cases. thats why he talked about those glow in the dark sunglasses or screendoor for sub. you dont need them. they are useless in those cases.

Why did you put quotation marks around the word, "invented"? LMAO, you were the only one who has used that word. You aren't quoting anyone here.

And yes, your assessment of his intended meanings are also, presumably, accurate. That doesn't change your original comment to make any more sense.

Just received these in the mail. Don't know if I can recommend them even at $10. They feel pretty low quality, and the first one I opened had the head strap backwards. I don't know if it was mentioned but these are the version 1 of this item. Version 1 you can't tilt the lamp down in headlamp mode, and the headlamp assembly is non-magnetic, so you have to twist it 90° to disconnect and connect it. The twisting mechanism is very cheap plastic and I wouldn't trust it for regular use. However, maybe for emergency use, ie. Keeping it in the car or in a window sill, so that the battery is always charged maybe useful. Although I don't know if the solar has overcharge protection, so there may be a chance that the batteries get destroyed by leaving it charging by solar all the time. Anyway I hope this was helpful. ✌️

Been a fan of Mpowered Luci lights for a while ordered a couple just got them today.

Quality is spot on considering everything is plastic nowadays, it uses a USB c type port and comes with a cable, the headband portion does have to be turned 90 degrees to release but once the light is attached you're able to adjust the light up and down

Overall for 10 bucks and a light that doesn't require batteries it's a smokin deal

I remember enjoying 80s Polish jokes as a child. We didn't consider rechargeable batteries. A different time.

So what do you call a polish guy with a battery powered headlamp?
Just doesn't have the same humor as solar headlamps

Ugh, just got this thing, the person that designed this isn't very good at his job. Also, didn't bother to test or validate his design. The headlamp mechanism is janky. First, you might break it simply attaching it to or detaching from the head strap, the mechanism is thin and seemingly fragile. Second, when attached it has two adjustment clicks to angle down. Fine for walking around but does not tilt down enough to illuminate what would be in your hands without holding your hands out and cranking your neck down. For $10 I guess you have a solar flashlight, but if the sun is out why would you need a flashlight ? (joke) For $10 I don't feel scammed, it probably is worth $10 of utility. But totally not worth it for their suggested retail of $30. I wouldn't buy it again, does not feel well built.
