Whenever you see a hammer in a socket set you know it may not be that good haha. I'd still buy it possibly for a small set in the house.

Same. Says "when purchased online" with no way to purchase online.

If it's sold directly by Walmart, then they have no justification for not matching the price in the store!

A couple months ago I was at customer service getting an online price match, and the lady at customer service said they were told they'd be stopping that anytime now.

What's more annoying is when you use Walmart+ to do pay as you go and it doesn't matter what the store price is, you pay the online price. So they need to decide what lane they're in. Seems like the only price they're honoring is whichever one is higher.

Have had difficulty at Walmart price matching their website prices. However, I usually head over to the cashier that constantly smiles at customers to get them to price match, which usually works most of the time.

Walmart does have a "Price Matched Guarantee" on their website which list that they will match prices with some competitors.

But then on the bottom they have:

"All price matching is at the sole discretion of Walmart and is subject to change at any time without prior notice. Walmart reserves the right to refuse price matching at any time. Please contact one of our customer service experts at 1-800-741-5367 if you have any questions regarding our price match policy."

So they do but they don't. So Walmart doesn't guarantee their price matching policy but do say they price match guarantee.

I went to my local Walmart and it came to ~$52.
Chatter with one of the associate(not on the counter) that it is available in store, but no way to purchase online for pick up. She looked up a bit from her end, and finally price matched. Good set for ~$21.

Did you mean scan and go? Using it while in the store, you are saying that it charges their online price, not the shelf-tagged prices?
EEK!
That is something I will have to watch out for, if so. Never heard of this.

This is the regular price, I have bought many of these. one for each car to keep in the trunk. one I keep under my desk at work in case I need to do a quick repair of something loose chair leg or desk part. I paid $20/each for all of them!
