I have an older version of this. Maybe this one is better, but I can't tell. The hose is too short and the canister is too light, as a result it constantly falls over and the ball that protects the motor from liquids gets pulled up so I have to switch it off and wait for the ball to pull back. The short hose is a real problem for using it in tight spaces like your car. Maybe I'm just an oaf 😂

Mine has a few rust spots but it is not bad, it is an older version and I have never used it for wet work. It is too weak.

Ridgid more or less has lifetime warranty. Their small 6gal or smaller vacs are loooud though
