If you never use this for water I suppose it would last. Last stainless one I had, rusted out in the bottom around a year after use. Rendering it useless as the rusty hole created was causeing it to leak and lose suction. I suggest ones with a plastic canister. Just my 2 cents.

A shot of Truck Bedliner or Spray Coating before rust happens or when new?

suggesting that you need to plan how to fix your new product before you buy it really leaves something to be desired yeah? seems to me the company should use both plastic and steel in the canister.
maybe optimal would be a plastic insert you could take out in case sucking up something that melts plastic like petroleum distillates.
Got 1 of these from Wally World few years ago for $65 and my Stanley Stainless is 8 Gallons and pulls 6 horses, but its kinda loud & souds like a jet engine 😱
