32GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, Excellent build quality (from reviews), 2.2 lbs weight.
HP Dragonfly G4 13.5" Intel Evo Platform Touchscreen Laptop - 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U - 1280p - Windows 11 Pro
This was $1200 a couple of weeks back and then it went to $1099. It just dropped to $999.
This is not the newest core ultra processor, but is this not good enough for most at this price point considering the build quality? I was looking for 32GB RAM, 1TB, 14.5 inch or less. and processor from the latest gen (preferably AMD) but I don't think it can be had for less than $1000. Zenbook came close with intel 155h.

I didn't realize you could buy an open box straight from Costco. I thought they send it back to the manufacturer.

How did you find that, meaning do they have those on display etc at Costco?
