I ordered this same deal a couple weeks ago. I wanted to buy a power head for the rubber broom that I needed for removing rocks from my lawn, but I was hesitant because I already had a stand alone ego trimmer. I ended up ordering this assuming I would just have 2 trimmers. I used it with the rubber broom the same day that I received it and was very happy with the power and ability to move rocks. Because I was so impressed with the power head, I started looking at other attachments and noticed a brush cutter that I thought would be useful. I then realized the trimmer head and brush cutter head were essentially the same thing and I checked if I could convert my trimmer head to a brush cutter head. It turned out that you can and it is relatively easy. I bought a kit that came with 2 blades and some miscellaneous adapters for other trimmers, but I only really needed 1 additional part. I reused the existing nut and then attached a bottom blade holder. The brush cutter works great. There is plenty of power and it cuts through brush and tree starts like butter. I tested cutting a 3 inch tree limb and it took a second or 2. If you're hesitating on this package because you already have a trimmer, consider if you could use a brush cutter.

The I only needed a blade and I used the deeper silver base.
