I have this monitor and love it, but I'm not gaming so 60Hz is fine with me. The stand is excellent, sturdy, and has up/down, slight rotation, and tilt.

The sound is not very good and sometimes cuts off the first part of a "ding" noise. Like the audio circuit was sleeping and had to wake up.

It has a split screen mode where it can show two inputs side by side - useful for setting up a second computer.
The USB 3.0 hub is kind of silly - it is only 2 ports on the back. But you can turn it "ON" all the time and use it as a 500mA charging port.
It's perfect for an office monitor. It is the lowest price ever I have ever watched since 2021

I have this monitor.

Love it, with one LARGE caveat: it has a pretty bad flickering issue with Macs, especially when in dark mode or black backgrounds.

I've learned to deal with it— but would probably get something else in hindsight. Behaves perfectly fine with my PC though.

Good price, though.
I've got the same flickering problem with my Dell S2722QC.

If you don't do color-accurate work, I find that adjusting the monitor's Color Profile under Settings -> Displays helps. I settled on using the SMPTE RP 431-2-2007 DCI (P3) preset. It's a bit lighter than the monitor's default profile, which has significantly reduced how often I run into flicker-inducing dark colors.

That doesn't mean you should buy it! There are curved, QHD, IPS monitors out there, they just don't go on sale often. For a reason.
This guy is lost! Lol. Huge difference in screen real estate between QHD and UHD 4K. Can't believe people could be so uneducated.

Find a curved UHD 4K IPS monitor.

It's a curved monitor. VA is standard.
Did you watch the video? VA, IPS, TB, OLED are different ways they make these monitors. If one was perfect then we would all be using the same but each has strengths and weaknesses.

VA is cheap and can produce good blacks and colors but can be terrible in fast moving scenes with certain colors. (Watch the video)

IPS costs more and cannot produce pure blacks (dark grey only) but, aside from OLED, is the best for gaming as it can handle fast movement and remain clear,

TN is super cheap, cannot produce accurate color but has very good refresh but poor viewing angles.

OLED is, without question, the best but can be prone to burn in and cost a ton of money.

VA is on sale all the time for a reason. Watch the video and educate yourself. Unless you go OLED, every tech has a downside. You just have to pick the one that bothers you the least Smilie

"The solution is a high quality thunderbolt-to-DisplayPort cable. The same blog that gave me that advice also wrote that you can use a certified fancy HDMI cable if necessary but advises against it. I have not tried that. But the standard HDMI cable included does NOT work for this monitor with a Mac (I tried another HDMI cable from my TV, it also didn't work). So make sure to order a special cable or you may be disappointed.

***** The cable I ordered that fixed the problem was a "thunderbolt/usb-c to DisplayPort" cable that was rated for monitors up to 8K monitors. It fixed the flashing problem and I now love the monitor."

This is from one of the reviews in Amazon. This guy had the same issue in Mac and the cable fixed it; that's what he is saying.

Looking at the amazon page, an item image shows the USB ports on the back. The one closer to the outside can output 1.5 amps with BC 1.2 charging.

"8. USB 3.0 downstream port | 9. USB 3.0 downstream with BC 1.2 charging"
What's bc 1.2 charging? Better charging for phone?

Is this the cheapest it will ever get even compared to when dell has their big sales and the big cashback dell occasionally has and when they have monitor on sale?

I think when it's the dell big sale and when a cashback site has 15% cashback, then it's cheaper on dell? I also recall if you add the dell 10% coupon, it would probably be less than this? But obviously this is the cheapest it will ever get on amazon right? So when dell has it on sale, the lowest price is $319.99 right like it is now? Then you use the dell 10% coupon so now it's around $288. Then if there is 15% cashback on the monitor, then it would come to $244.80 before tax. However, does dell would charge the tax percentage on $320 or $288 in that situation? But only in this scenario would it be cheaper than buying it on amazon now right?

Also anyone here use 2 of these side by side and if so, is it comfortable to use? Or it's too big? when using 2 of them as dual monitor?

I prefer 4k basically always. At 27+, I wouldn't even consider below 4k, especially for office use. At 32", no way would I bother with 1440p.

Especially for office work, the ppi makes a huge difference, whereas I don't think the refresh rate is as important. Reading text (on browsers or elsewhere), and documents/pdfs, spreadsheets, etc. are very nice at higher ppi.

Imo, ppi for 4k 32" isn't even that good. It's basically the same ppi as a 15" 1080p, which is the same as my laptop from 15 years ago.

But yeah, 1440p at 32" for office work would be a no go.

Now... some people (like my parents) can't tell the difference between 480p and 4k on their 27". Drives me crazy. Kthxbye

Too big for side by side imo. With the 32, I think you'd prefer to sit centered with one of them. My set up is this monitor centered with my seat, and 27" vertical on the side. Works fine for me.

2x 32" horizontal would have me swiveling too much, then I'm off center with my keyboard.

My dad just bought 2 of these to use side by side though, so depends on personal preference.

The monitor is also 28" horizontally. So you'd need a 56" desk to fit both monitors. If you have a 60" table, try imagining where you'd sit and turn/rotate. Not too good imo.

I don't think this is the solution, as I have multiple of those cables. The flickering is an issue when the average color on the screen is darker. If your background is light and you full screen a dark image, it flickers.

What causes it is some sort of miscommunication with these lower end "S" screens. The Ultrasharp Q line does not have the issue.

That being said, I still love this monitor, and I think the image is very hard to bet at this price, especially for office work.

I got this from Dell back in January for $300 & I love it so far for office use. I went from 3 monitors(19,22,19) to this one as center & the 22in vertical with Teams/email only on the side. My neck/back/shoulders are less stressed since I'm not twisting as much. Also the "seams" between screens & the slight color/temp difference in a multi-monitor set up drives my brain nuts, it's so much better have just the one main display.

Agree with you on the sizing, but I've found that with the larger screen I can sit much farther back, so the resolution isn't an issue at all, and there is significantly improved eyestrain.

This is not true. I have an ultrasharp with the same flickering issue.

1800R curve. Which IMO is the best curve for a monitor this size based on my experience owning ones with various curves. It's also the most rare, unfortunately.
