On American, Delta and Hawaiian, you are allowed a personal item that fits under the seat in front of you and a carry-on bag. On United, you are only allowed a personal item. If you are travelling with children on AA, Hawaiian or UA, you will be seated together as per their policy. Delta decides this on a case-by-case basis.
The earlier months are mostly on United, but check often because competitor airlines tend to match.

Definitely, especially for this island. Going there in July for a wedding, got 2 nights covered by the hosts and booked an additional 3 night stay at the Grand Hyatt for $3600, and this is after discounts and Amex offer. -____-
