False. Starting in the 19th century, after innovations in plant nutrition, an agricultural industry developed around synthetically created fertilizers. This transition was important in transforming the global food system, allowing for larger-scale industrial agriculture with large crop yields.

It's actually you who is trying to get the plant benefits through the animal delivery system. It's just not effective, especially longevity-wise. Unfortunately the animals get the worst, pesticide-laden plants, so you do too... Not to mention seafood's microplastics and land animals' injections\hormones.

Plant-based diets are so unequivocally proven to extend life expectancy without comparison to any current fad, which anyone with the ability to do the minimum amount of research can see.
Beyond dying on a weird soapbox because you probably tied eating habits into something political, what you're saying isnt actual science.

Decomposing animals and plants become the atomic particles from which they are made from. There's no such thing as fish carbon or beef carbon. If such a logic were true, you'd be "eating" the dead body of a human because it was buried in the same grass that your dinner just ate.
Soooo good. Hard to find at full price in stores which helps this deal. Reeses posted about these on their Facebook and 1000000 idiots didn't know that cows milk is how they make milk chocolate.

Vegan? You are aware that almost all the veggies you eat especially organic are grown in some kind of animal base fertilizer? I am not only talking about the poo but the bone meal and blood fertilizers. Ground shells from things like shrimp and lobster as well as fish based fertilizers. You are eating animals just with a different delivery system.
Yes, understood, and there are lots of fossils and other decomposing materials in our soil.

I understand the circle of life, but sadly, I never saw the lion king movie. Frown

Agree. I think it is super tough at first, but over the long run, I think the recurring health benefits in a lifetime will be worth it.

Markus Rothkranz (videos [youtube.com]) and Brooke Goldner (videos [youtube.com]) really help make the journey easier. Smilie

Grazing cattle in cemeteries sounds remarkably efficient.

Uhhh micro plastics aren't limited to seafood. And actually those synthetic fertilizers contain a lot of micro plastics. Also what you say isn't true. Just being vegan or vegetarian isn't healthy by itself. You can be an obese slob eating Oreos, French fries and corn chips all day, or any other number of high sugar or ultra processed foods that still fall into that vegan category.

I didn't say "just being vegan or vegetarian is healthy by itself." I said "plant-based diets are proven to extend life expectancy." It's a well known fact. This actually excludes vegetarians bc they aren't plant-based.

What you said is true that I did mean a whole foods plant based (WFPB) diet. Not a junk food & restaurant diet, which is unhealthy no matter what.
