False. Starting in the 19th century, after innovations in plant nutrition, an agricultural industry developed around synthetically created fertilizers. This transition was important in transforming the global food system, allowing for larger-scale industrial agriculture with large crop yields.

It's actually you who is trying to get the plant benefits through the animal delivery system. It's just not effective, especially longevity-wise. Unfortunately the animals get the worst, pesticide-laden plants, so you do too... Not to mention seafood's microplastics and land animals' injections\hormones.

Plant-based diets are so unequivocally proven to extend life expectancy without comparison to any current fad, which anyone with the ability to do the minimum amount of research can see.
Beyond dying on a weird soapbox because you probably tied eating habits into something political, what you're saying isnt actual science.

Decomposing animals and plants become the atomic particles from which they are made from. There's no such thing as fish carbon or beef carbon. If such a logic were true, you'd be "eating" the dead body of a human because it was buried in the same grass that your dinner just ate.
Soooo good. Hard to find at full price in stores which helps this deal. Reeses posted about these on their Facebook and 1000000 idiots didn't know that cows milk is how they make milk chocolate.

I'm more curious to find a vegan nut butter cup replacement that doesn't have peanuts. I'm allergic to peanuts and I'm pretty new to this plant-based thing.
If you are up to trying to make your own, here's one DIY recipe where you can choose what type of nut butter you prefer:

Trader Joe's makes a sunflower seed butter cup.

Even if they are killed instantly without pain, the living conditions are usually deplorable. They live tortured lives until they are slaughtered. If it's instant without pain that's great. They are being put out of their misery in a humane way.

I was excited about this deal. They showed up today and my wife and I both had one. They were terrible, color was off, dry, chalky. I love Reese's Plant Based cups, had them many times, and had a few bad packs but most are fine. These were the worst I've ever had and I could only manage one bite before they went in the trash. The best buy date was January 2025 so I don't know why they were like that. Maybe I just got a bad batch and everyone else is fine. I don't know.

I watched a guy try these on YouTube, and he described them a lot like you did, which was what backed me off from going for it. Appreciate the confirmation that I chose wisely. You and your wife's noble sacrifice have not been in vane.

I didn't say "just being vegan or vegetarian is healthy by itself." I said "plant-based diets are proven to extend life expectancy." It's a well known fact. This actually excludes vegetarians bc they aren't plant-based.

What you said is true that I did mean a whole foods plant based (WFPB) diet. Not a junk food & restaurant diet, which is unhealthy no matter what.
You mean...like vegan Reese cups?

Nah.. I am pretty sure they live a much better life in those places then trying to hash it out by themselves in the wild. Have you ever seen a stray cat in the wild trying to fend for itself? It just keeps getting skinnier and skinner starving to death? Is that better? You guys tell us. These animals grown for harvest are at least fed and kept alive, not having to go out and try to scrounge for food every night.. eventually dying from starvation. I think that's worse. You guys tell us.

1. I'm not a vegan, I'm a vegetarian. Your analysis was wrong, might want to check your 'stereotypical vegan' sensors.

2. No, you've gotten enough of my time for free. I should bill you for the lessons and knowledge.

A lot of your arguments is based on 'I think... and I feel' which isn't scientific in any realm outside of Facebook.

Find a new opponent to express your disgruntled vegan Reeses views. 🥱
It just gets old talking about this stuff to Vegans, let alone a supposed vegetarian defending the hardcore vegan religion that gets to hatred attacking meat eaters.

Vegans just don't care about life, or they would care about plants. Plants are indeed alive, and most definitely do not want to be eaten alive. This has been discussed extensively before. You don't care about that though. We already said that vegans must not think plants care about their life, right? Do you have an answer?

Don't start on that central nervous bullsh*t.. Plants are alive. Vegans eat plants alive. Just admit it. You eat plants too, and do not give a sh*t. Right? They are living organisms. You eat them alive, you cook them, and eat them. They were alive. I guess who cares right? Answer that please. Thanks in advance all wise vegetarian person.

Current science does not believe that plants experience pain or have thoughts and feelings. Animals do experience pain and have thoughts and feelings, with pigs believed to have the intelligence level of a young human child. A line has to be drawn somewhere. Vegans draw it at pain, thoughts, and feelings. Why do you draw it after animals? If you eat pigs, why not have some baby human shipped over from China? It's probably delectable.

Regardless, none of this discussion (including my posts) belongs in a thread about a deal involving Reese's candy.
