I reached out on chat too on their website after I ordered it. The guy assured it was brand new. But, now since some of the other reps gave different responses to you guys and noted on the orders if not brand new, you would get refund.... I hope I am able to refund too even if my cs rep didn't note anything on my order, because they insisted it was brand new when they checked.
How would you know it is refurbished though? Are refurbished different packaging? I've never bought refurbished Dyson products before.

I've read on Dyson support community stating that if serial numbers ends with A, it's brand new. If it ends with B or C, it's refurbished. I have 2 Dyson products and both serial number ends with A and I purchased them as new from Best Buy in the past. We can also share the serial number to Dyson support and they can identify if it's new or refurbished
