They told me have to pay one month of service and then u can get this deal on month 2
not true. Just wait until you have the new phone in hand in order to login to your account, then order this tablet. No need to wait a month.

Worth of $20 , but not the $70 as previously... The screen is not bright, not amoled or IPS. Fake Dex 🤕
...because there's a bunch of other tabs with OLED displays available for $70 or so, right?

On the same account? As in does it let you buy two tablets with a single account that only has one mobile line

If you don't activate your new line, Metro will activate it automatically about three weeks after you receive your tablet.
Oh ok. From reading the steps, it seemed like I could get the rebate in step 1 without paying $20 for a plan in step 2. But maybe they enforce it at checkout. I'm not a metro customer yet so I can't test.

There were folks in the other thread reporting that they got three. Maybe that somehow correlates with getting other Metro deals. I don't need any more tabs, so wouldn't try for another one. Getting blacklisted by Metro for abusing these deals would suck.

I wish they went back to giving phones and tablets away for changing /upgrading plans
Agreed. But they won't as long as dummies are willing to pay.

Just placed an order.
Signed up for BYOD $30 plan, and activate it with an eSIM device.
Have to call in and the agent bump me to $45 plan for a bit to place the order, once the order is placed, he then bring me down to the $30 plan... Total cost $50.

How many of these can we get before metro considers it abuse? Would like to stay on the right side of them for future deals.

Someone said 2 per account? I was told I had to wait for one tablet to arrive before ordering a second.

I went ahead and did the BYOD plan for $30 and was able to purchase the tablet immediately. I debated between that vs getting a new "free" phone first and then sign up for this tablet, but didn't really need a new phone and I'm not sure how long this deal will last if it takes 2-3 business days to get the phone. You'll need to get access to the SMS code sent to the new number before you can register your Metro account online. Total cost for the tablet was $3 (google voice # unlock) + $30 (BYOD plan) + $20 (tablet) = $53.

Steps I took.
1. Signed up for a google voice number using a junk email.
2. Set up a voicemail PIN and then paid $3 to unlock the number. Follow these instructions: https://slickdeals.net/f/17325810-metro-by-t-mobile-port-in-new-number-offers-select-smartphone-30-d...
3. Signed up for the $30 plan using an eSIM. https://slickdeals.net/f/17143504-esim-bring-your-number-online-25-metro-by-t-mobile-single-line-phone-plan-unlimited-5g-data
4. After paying for $30 plan, I wasn't able to add the tablet initially. It showed an error saying call in (I didn't). I logged into the account with another browser and then was able to buy the tablet for $20. I'm not able to buy more than 1, the second attempt it errors with "Sorry, you are not eligible to add a new line".
The plan is $35 for the first month right? Then $30 for autopay following months.
