Yes, I tried different VPN locations and still not allow me to order.
Even though I used VPN, they cancelled my order and charged my credit card automatically when they said let's verify your identification right at the end of the ordering process. They didn't even give me a chance to do the identity verification. Sometimes they let me do identity verification and sometimes they do not. It is very frustrating.

Just a reminder: if your Add To Cart button is greyed out with instructions to call, and you're on your 2nd or higher purchase, you may have to activate your previous order(s) first via the website.

https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/r...s/activate

Search by Order Number which you will have gotten in your email. Input this and your account info into the form. Once you activate it, the tablet line shows up on your account home page.

Just turning on and inserting SIM into first tablet wasn't enough. Once I did this, I was immediately able to place an order for another tablet where previously I couldn't.

I activated an eSIM with a backup iPhone porting over a GV number on May 4. I successfully ordered 3 Galaxy Tab A9+ since then (had to call in for the first two, and then the third one I ordered through the website).

After a few days of keeping my iPhone turned off, I turned back on my phone only to find that the signal bar is replaced with SOS. I tried logging into my Metro account, and now it says "Sorry, the information provided does not match our records. Please try again.". It looks like my account has been deactivated for some reason (black-listed?). My phone lost service, and I can't access my account any more. I'm happy with the 3 tablets I have, but I wish I don't get charged for further service on any of my lines since I have no intention of keeping the lines.
Update: My number associated with Metro has definitely been deactivated. When I call that number, it says the number is not in service. I tried plugging in the SIM cards to my tablets, but none of them shows the signal bar (only shows the circle with slash) meaning they are not in service either. My guess is that Metro has blacklisted my account and stopped/deactivated all associated services. I can still use my tablets as wifi-only devices, but my hope of unlocking one or two of them is probably gone. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?

iPhone 11 is showing $75 in total

Did they change any rules? Or we can stop the service as usual after a month?

Maybe you mixed up the sim cards somehow?

you cant call with these tablet plans right? they have a dialer but calling the number in my account for the tablets does nothing and calling out gives an error. so i assume tablet plans are data only.

i dont actually care just curious.

20 a month for unlimited tablet data is actually not horrible for a kid or something in the car.

Strange.
Have you contacted Metro?
Other option is to file with FCC.
