If you compare the specs between the S6 and S9 FE then you will be happy with your S6. The key difference is the Super AMOLED in S6 vs TFT LCD display in S9 FE. Also, Qualcomm in S6 vs Exonys in the S9 FE. So the S9 FE is pretty much a downgrade but the downside is no more software/security updates for the S6.

I was able to replicate the deal but ran into some quirks. If I used my corp discount, I could no longer trade in a S6 Lite, only up to the S5, so it was more expensive. Also, by default, it adds in the book cover keyboard at 50% but when I went to checkout, it was out of stock and wouldn't let me place the order. But for a non-corp discount, no keyboard buy, I was able to buy the S9 FE for $99 after trade-in.

Went ahead and trading in my 2022 S6 Lite, I thought it would be tolerable when I got it after hearing the CPU refresh was a good bump over the 2020 version, but it was way laggier then I expected. Hoping the extra RAM and 90hz screen in the S9 FE will be a smoother experience.

glad to be of service! i bought the S6 Lite in 2021 on a slickdeal for $175 as an upgrade for my mom, so it was probably the 2020 version, and it's just stunning to be getting $250 trade-in value for it now and upgrading her again to a new tablet for relatively marginal cost.

About a year ago I bought my SNL a 2022 64GB S6 Lite for about $150. Talked her into trading for the S9 FE for $94.99. So all she has to do is send in the tablet? She can keep the s-pen and charger?

I still have a brand new 2022 S6 Lite 128 GB one in the original box. Paid about $190 for it. Might just jump on this deal.

Thanks for this. Just traded in my S6 Lite. The Education Discount saved another $5 making it $95 +tax. The only downside is that the estimated delivery date is 4 weeks from now.

I was able to trade in my gen 1 s6 lite (2020).. and got a s9 fe + it is way smoother than the 6 lite was new...I figured the 12gb of RAM would be good if I keep it for 4 years again...I paid $190 for the 6 lite new after trading a tab S2 in 2020... This was 2 weeks ago and was able to do epp discount which was $17.50...
