I have both polishers and they are great. I bought them in a ceramic kit for $250. So this pricing is really good. Only problem I have is the detachable cord. Great feature, but the cord starts falling out every few minutes. It's especially bad when working a vertical surface like a boat or doors on a car. The locking mechanism for the cord is just poorly designed.
Griot's Garage offers a life warranty for their polishers. On top of that, the G9 is a good, if not the best, budget dual action polisher in the market. $119 is definitely a steal.

This or the Milwaukee M18 FUEL18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 15MM DA Polisher, if they're the same price? Thanks!

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL is cordless and will end up costing you more since you will have to invest in the batteries unless you are already in the Milwaukee ecosystem. With 15mm throw you can do the job faster with M18 Fuel, but the G9 is far cheaper and good for beginners. Both are good polishers though.

I already have a bunch of batteries. If you take that out of the equation, either one would be good? Thanks!

If you have the batteries, M18 would be the go since it is more convenient with cordless but powerful enough to do a good job! The 15mm throw would get your job done faster as well.

I bought the G9. Was going back and forth over a few others before but at this new sale price, it made it a no brainer for me.

G9 is an awesome polisher, the lifetime warranty is legit, and this price is an absolute no-brainer. Might grab the G8 at this price.

Hopefully they will have this on sale again pre father's day. Will wait until mid May to get it and they do price adjustments up to 30 days.

Where are you finding this deal? I am in the same situation but lowest I have seen the M18 was $187 with the battery hack at HD.

I got it a few weeks ago with the back. It came out a bit cheaper. I just haven't opened the box yet, so I was debating what to do

Yeah $187 for M18 cordless vs $119 for the corded Griots is my dilemma. I wish Milwaukee would just make an M12 DA polisher like the Flex or Griots then I would be in a better position to decide on a bigger DA polisher like one of these.

If you already have the batteries I'd go Milwaukee. Less than $70 for cordless if you're already spending this much? Future you will thank you
