I have both polishers and they are great. I bought them in a ceramic kit for $250. So this pricing is really good. Only problem I have is the detachable cord. Great feature, but the cord starts falling out every few minutes. It's especially bad when working a vertical surface like a boat or doors on a car. The locking mechanism for the cord is just poorly designed.

Griot's Garage offers a life warranty for their polishers. On top of that, the G9 is a good, if not the best, budget dual action polisher in the market. $119 is definitely a steal.

Anyone have a link for the Milwaukee? The one I see on HD is full price.

Surprised this isn't getting more traction, the G9 was FP at $130 5 mos ago (G8 was $99). Snagged the G8 this round as I got the G9 last time. Thanks OP.

I debated between this and the milwaukee 15mm. I went with the milwaukee. I only own 3 m18 batteries including the one that came with it. 6 AH and 2 5AH. I went through all three at full charge plus a full recharge on the 6AH to do a badly beat up paint on a Rav4. Make sure you have a few charged batteries on deck if you go the Milwaukee route. I may pick this up just to have a corded one.

This is a great deal! You can also get a 5" backing plate for the G9 so that it is a little more flexible in applications that are a tighter fit.

I have their previous orbital. The switch broke on me, I can send it in for a replacement but on my dime though. Need to get around to doing that.
