Well sometimes the sink does get a little grimey. I do a scrub once in a week or alternate week depending on how much shit is going on in life. The current grate does get gunk collected in places needing a scrub.

FYI - This is a Kitchen Sink Drain Strainer, not a regular strainer.

Since this is steel I'm guessing I can put it in the dishwasher to have it cleaned up regularly?

What are you putting in your sink that hand washing the sink strainer wouldn't take 10 secs or less?

And bits of rice left on bowl goes right through the holes in a regular sink strainer. Vinegar and baking soda gets it up but I'd rather just rinse it out of one of these strainers

These should come with sinks. I wish I would have known about these years ago. I added them a couple of years back. I never use my disposal any more.

I just threw in some other products to get to the 35 min, just like I do with Amazon.

These should be great for our shower tub, the hump getting over the pop up plug. Might be good in some bathroom sinks too, if a bit big.

I don't like the presence of the handle. Debris will collect around it, making cleaning more inconvenient.
