A clearance item can be in stock but unavailable for online order and pickup.

That's how it was with the Makita chain saw kits a few months ago. Lots of local stores had them, but you had to walk in to purchase.

Also things my store had on sale back in January. I went back to get the mini tiller attachment but they were gone. Never saw the hedge trimmer attachment locally.

Couple of things in my store. They weren't marked and needed to be scanned. Tiller, hedge trimmer and string trimmer were all $10
