I'm over a year now and have used it quite frequently actually. The Showtime access hasn't really been beneficial; they feel like a dead network TBH. But all the MTV/Nick/CC stuff is gold and I got to catch up with some shows that if you lived during that period, no way to possibly have seen all the episodes. I will say, if Sony buys them I'll be very sad since that will be the end of the free ride. Worse still, they suck as a company now and would ruin it.

I can't answer the payment method question but for the cancellation question, every time I've cancelled immediately after subscribing using one of these codes (including just now), it just lets me know that "Your subscription has been canceled and your payment method will no longer be charged. You will not be able to access Paramount+ content after your billing cycle ends on May 28, 2024"

Been getting this free with Showtime since my free trial ended back in December. Don't know why. The visa giftcard I registered with only had $3.00 on it and I did cancel.

That must some issue on your side. I have used a Privacy CC for the last year and have used nothing but promo codes. They do charge $1 to verify the card - mine is limited to the merchant and no more than $5. I don't think they refund the $1, but I'm okay paying $1 for access to ad-free Paramount+ shows.

I've been using a privacy.com card with Paramount for years. Luckily, I set the limit to $1/month because they always try to charge me before the trial has finished. They never actually charged $1; they just do a check to make sure it's a card that's able to be charged.

using an existing account & choosing Paypal, I can't get past the "This promotional code is not valid" when coupon is entered. Anyone else get this?

edit: also getting error msg when using new account &/or a CC instead of Paypal. No combination works.
