Pure rasterization is pretty similar. If you plan on using Ray tracing extensively, Nvidia is the better answer at the same price. For the long run, the Radeon card has 16 GB of vram versus only 12 GB for the 4070 super.

What fps and resolution do you want to ray trace at is the main question because lots of ray tracing will put you fps where you'd rather run native. This was never $700. Normal msrp since its launch in the US is around 549.99 so don't be fooled by that. Good card at a good price tho.

It should be noted that this Gigabyte card is one of the fastest and most overclocked of the RX 7900 GRE cards, and one of the only more overclocked ones that retails at the MSRP of $550. At $530, it's probably one of the best bang for the buck cards you can get in this price range. I got one at launch for MSRP, and it's been great so far.

But don't fall for Newegg's GPU trade-in scam. I did, and, like with SO many others online, they rejected my trade-in with no reason whatsoever, even though it was working perfectly fine before I sent it to them and after they sent it back.
