Sony has a better sound and noise-cancelling IMO, but the QC's are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.

Several considerations:
1. Bose customer service is not what it used to be. Very difficult to get get a response - it's mostly scripted by offshore analysts.
2. Bose website will accept id.me for students, medical, first responders, etc.

I have both the Bose QC45 and the Sony MX4. They are comparable headphones at a similar price point. Both have things I would say are slightly better than the other. Much of it comes down to preference as they are both excellent. Ultimately I prefer the Bose mostly due to their specific sound. Both can be EQ'd But still to me the Bose are more even and clear. The Sony's are more bassy and a little muffled.

So these have a lot of info regarding their noise cancelling - but how is the noise cancelling on the microphone? I want these so that I can have a baby crying in my arms but it won't bleed over into my conference call. Is that possible with these or are they not actually noise cancelling on the microphone as well as the speakers?

Can I lay down in bed comfortably with these? My partner snores and I've tried those sleeping mask headphones with the creepy voice and some PXC 550 but they're so uncomfortably painful.

The only way you're going to have a baby crying in your arms and not have it picked up on a mic is with a very tuned XLR type standalone microphone where you basically have to kiss the mic to get any audio in. I had mine set like that for a bit and it worked well.

Has anybody else had issues with Capital One Shopping? They had 6% cashback at art.com so I used them for the first time a few months ago, I placed 5 orders totaling about $800, got the cashback notifications, then I got an email that my account has been closed with some generic message about terms and conditions.
