1. Bose customer service is not what it used to be. Very difficult to get get a response - it's mostly scripted by offshore analysts.
2. Bose website will accept id.me for students, medical, first responders, etc.
3. AmEx cardholder offer if valid through 01-May ($50 max). Reminder: you must apply the discount to your AmEx account for it to be acknowledged.
Edit- was actually able to get it lower
$249 base
- $30 id.me
- $33 Amex

Bose Advantage: More comfortable, physical buttons (though this some people prefer touch buttons on Sony, I like physical buttons, so this is up to personal preference)
Sony Advantage: Better connectivity, fewer issues using and switching between multiple devices
I've owned both and liked the Bose one better overall, but depending on your needs and use cases, you might prefer Sony instead.
Bose is 90 days. Plenty of time.

The only way you're going to have a baby crying in your arms and not have it picked up on a mic is with a very tuned XLR type standalone microphone where you basically have to kiss the mic to get any audio in. I had mine set like that for a bit and it worked well.
Mind you I've been a Capital One banking customer for like a decade. If they treat long term customers like this, I can only imagine ....
