At the end of the day you can't bring the desktop with you or it would be a huge pain to do so. I travel from time to time for work and have found my 18 inch laptop a great travel companion.
true, and even though i have an itx build, i would never bring it around
my ideal setup would be a thin and light + egpu setup that doesn't get bottlenecked by the connection
gaming laptops are dumb imo for someone who isn't going to be moving around, or if they need the horsepower for work
Did anyone get one that could properly wake up from sleep mode? I'm returning mine. I'm wondering if I should buy another to reset the return window. I updated the bios, drivers from acer, windows updates. Most of the time, sleep mode was a death sentence, I just had to hold the power button to turn it off because it wouldn't wake up.

I actually like to move my laptop to my living room sometimes on my days off and use the laptop as a sort of console. The 4060 seems to handle many games I play at 4k on my living room 65 inch tv. Only thing is I had to get a second power adapter.

yeah the laptop 4060 is good since the power is similar to the actual desktop card
Listing mentions eBay refurbished and includes 2yr Allstate warranty. Anyone ever had issues with claims in case it's a dud? Also how do they compare against squaretrade? Debating to pull the trigger on this or the refurb16" version with 4080.
