I was in the Hayward, CA Costco 30 mins ago and no sign of discounts yet. The 55" is still 1,299 and when I asked an employee he checked the system and it's supposed to increase to 1,399 (+100) by 5/5. However he did mentioned they should drop soon since they already started receiving the C4 models (they only had the 48" at the moment). Guess I'll be going everyday next week 😂

Same here in Buford, GA, still at regular price and not many left, so not sure if they'll discount it.
Just in case some in here missed it, Target has a lot of TVs on clearance including the C3. I was able to obtain a 65" for $1000 and the 55" was $750. I think the 48" was $400(?) May be worth checking although stock is mostly depleted by now.
It's people like that guy, who keep spouting this nonsense, that made you expect worse. These TVs are over 800 nits, while the majority of TVs that all of us have had for many years are only 200-300 nits. These are so much brighter than the vast majority of TVs, yet you'll always get those people saying they're dim, usually while they have a TV that's nowhere near as bright. Lol.
I agree. Tbh, the brightness was less of a concern for me compared to ability to deal with reflection which this also does an exceptional job. My C3 is in a room with room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and I have less issues with it than the 10yr old LG LED it replaced.

Yeah. Glare is essentially a non-issue for me, too. I used to have a regular LG LED before I got a C2. I really wish people would stop trying to "educate" people about things they don't know anything about, but of course that will never happen. I'm sure too many people skipped these amazing TVs and got something inferior, just because they listened to someone like that guy.
As of this morning costco appears to have slashed prices by $100 online for most models. Compared to target, prices are still pretty high. Maybe another $100-$200 off would be more enticing.

I am seeing the 77" one actually $100 more than last 2 weeks, which I think was actually an increase from the weeks before that.
Have a 65" C3 in a sunlit room and it handles the light and reflections beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised because I went in expecting worse.
I also just got this 48" and the sunlit room is no issue at all. I've been reading for years how a bright room "ruins" the picture. It is not true at all. Love the picture on this and looking to get 77 or 83 now.
Someone reported they received a used C3 in a packed box from Target with 16k hours on it and noticed visible burn-in.
Samsung's S90C has gen 1 panels which may have substantial burn-in probability but does C3 have it too?
Am getting cold feet with respect to OLED, so want to ask If one is using a TV to just project from laptop thru HDMI, will a QLED TV suffice? Because all video will be processed on the laptop itself.

The C3 is too dim to use in a sun lit room. C4 is brighter, don't know if that is bright enough.
I have an E7 from ages ago, even it works just fine in a sun lit room. This is much brighter than that 😂
In store? Costco's in my area dont even carry them, 48" smallest. Online only i think.
