Obviously this thing is over priced for what it is, especially compared to the PS5 upgrade path. But, this is still a good deal for those needing more native storage for Series games. There are no other options.
Agreed. This is my only complaint on the Series X/S hardware.

Honestly, by not responding. Dude is likely a troll, or too ignorant to research things to realize these things have never been the same prices as standard nvme 2tb ssds for pcs. And that this price is a great deal considering.
This price is super high and Xbox has also been a let down in the last year or so overall, I don't know if I feel good about keeping this at this price, might just take it back and hope to get something cheaper one day still.
In short, everyone is right but there are more to the picture than what meets the eye. The prices of these are ridiculously high and shouldn't be, if they allowed competing options. Even with WD there wasn't any real competition, price remained the same (like, non-compete clause?). This was the biggest disappointment of Xbox, as it makes no sense. Without space how are we suppose to buy games in a digital age that THEY have been promoting? It's like going grocery shopping without a cart. Just handing out baskets and say if u want a better experience with a cart pay for one or its usage. Like, do u want customers to spend money? Provide us what's needed to purchase digital games.
I would buy this if it was under $200. This or WD. I hear WD is slighter better, faster. If one had the choice. Also, there has been recertified 1tb from WD for $119.
