Was told this offer will be available online next month in May. Makes sense since the online offers came after the in-branch offers in the past.

wondering if possible that $99 waived(in person at bank)

agree this 75k is not worth getting, will wait for something better
You could get ink business preferred to hold you over. That's what I just did. I last got the bonus in 2017. Main downside vs CSP is primary care rental insurance only applies when used for biz purposes, which I'm sure requires jumping through hoops to do. I don't have a business and thus sign up as a sole proprietor, but 100k points + 3x travel is great.

So they base on the day you received the bonus not the day you cancelled the card? Tia.

Does anyone difference between CSP and CSR when transferring points to partners? I can't seem to recall and that could be a decided for me. Transferring 75K to Southwest would be already equivalent to ~1.5x value usually.

I got CSP summer 2021 so I don't qualify.

Need a card with no foreign transaction fees for an upcoming trip. Any recommendations for something with a sign up bonus?

Able to spend $8k in 3 months? Chase has the chase ink business preferred. After the spend you earn 100k UR points. Annual fee $95 (not waived). 0% foreign transaction fee.

When I went up the branch they told me that I would have to close my current chase sapphire (regular no fee) in order to get the chase reserve. If I just upgraded I would not get the offer. Has anyone else dealt with this?

You can only have one Chase Sapphire card open at a time. You used to be able to have multiple, but they stopped allowing that. I'd go with the Preferred over Reserve. Reserve AF doesn't seem to be worth it anymore. I went with Capital One Venture X as my premium card now. Cap1 lounge is legit.

You don't already rotate the other Chase United cards? Even if you're not a United flyer, United points easily access Star Alliance partners.

Good luck!

There's no difference at all for transfering to partners.

The only difference is if you instead use the points to book travel in the Chase travel portal--- there CSP gets 1.25c a point and CSR gets 1.5c

Southwest-in particular- is one of the very rare times using the portal at all makes any sense- specifically CSR- because besides getting a similar value for the points as transferring, SW treats it as a cash booking so you earn miles on the ticket unlike an award ticket.

THAT said- the taxes play out a bit differently on cash vs award booking- so you need to run the #s both ways to see which is better.

With CSP transfer is going to be better in virtually all cases.

thanks - I have only booked hotels which are usually marked up much higher but i never booked a flight ticket through the portal since i am usually looking for the cheapest flight option. But if SW flight tickets are available on CSR portal and have the same price as SW website then thats like a great deal.
Are the flights through CSR portal same price as the direct airline tickets?
